Third Parties

This site uses Hatchbox (https://www.hatchbox.io/) and DigitalOcean (https://www.digitalocean.com/) as its cloud service providers.

We do not use any third party analytics services.

Data we collect

Server Logs

We store information about visitors to the site in log files. The information collected in log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, date and time stamp, and the page that was accessed. The purpose of the information is for administering the site.

The server logs are cleared periodically.

Login Attempts

We also record every login attempt made by users. A login attempt record stores the user's email address, IP address, login request type, and the reason the attempt was unsuccessful. It does not store the password that the user entered as plain text or as a hash string.

Accounts on this site are only explicitly created by other users with existing accounts.

Login attempts are stored indefinitely for security purposes, but a user may request their records to be removed.

Content Audit Logs

This site has user-editable content. Changes to user-editable content are usually recorded in audit logs, which detail the fields that were changed and which user made the change. The audit logs for this content are stored indefinitely, but a user may request their associated audit logs to be removed.

Cookies

This site stores information about visitors in cookies. Cookies are strings that are stored on a visitor's computer to record the visitor's activity and are read when the visitor returns. This site uses session cookies to improve our server's interaction with your computer. The cookies are not sent to any third party server or other location.
